Swissnex India Gaming Tour

Last week MMOS was participating in a one week tour as a member of the Swiss delegation visiting game developer companies in India. The tour was organized by the Swissnex network to strengthen ties between Swiss game development talent and the Indian gaming industry.

A highlight of the tour was the visit of the NASSCOM Game Developer Conference (GDC) in Hyderabad. The event was an excellent opportunity to meet potential Indian partners and many enthusiastic people who work in the field of serious games. MMOS also got a presentation slot and thus one of the first opportunities to talk about GAPARS publicly. A major aim of GAPARS is to provide services to the game development industry to lower the burden of implementing citizen science solutions in major titles. So we have to convince the gaming industry that this is important, viable and - last but not least - fun. And there is no better place to do this evangelisation than at industry conferences. Many new connections and promising leads from India!
