Consortium meeting in Montreal & Québec City
We have been planning for some time an in person meeting again with our external non-funded consortium parters: Jerome Waldispühl from McGill University, who is running the citizen science project Phylo and Sebastien Caisse and his team from the Québec Citiy Studio of Gearbox. Lots of interesting things to discuss about the upcoming project. It was a pleasure to finally meet in person with Hallur Thor Sigurdarson who is planning an interesting new paper on our work.
We also had the chance to participate in a grant proposal preparation day at the University of Ottawa where we would be able to use citizen science to better understand the spreading of antimicrobial-resistant microbes in urban environments.
